Puerto Morelos

Just South of Cancun, there are two parts to Puerto Morelos, the original coastal fishing village is now a laid-back, mixed use neighborhood of private homes, hotels, condominiums, restaurants, and tourist shops. The second part about 2 km. inland and adjacent to Highway 307, on the western side. The inland portion is mainly single level dwellings for the local workers. It is a place in transition with beach front property being snapped up by investors. It has grown rapidly with the development of tourism and estimated to be the home to some 2,000 people.

Remember that there is a wide range of beautiful properties that are available. Many new properties are being completed every day and are coming onto the market and are not yet listed anywhere.

There is absolutely no formal multiple listing service (central database) for properties in Mexico (as there is in the U.S.) and there is nothing that we know of that is online or on a website that is fully reliable.
