Nayarit

Nayarit is one of the smaller states on the Pacific Ocean north of Puerto Vallarta. Its capital is Tepic which is located inland and south on the Tepic River. Nearby is the Sanganguey volcano and the crater lake. Nayarit's rugged coastline makes it an ideal destination for surfers and birdwatchers alike, as the natural terrain holds lagoons and other wildlife treasures.
